Yesterday I brought home our fourth dog: a black miniature poodle!! It's a 3 or 4 yo male named Devin. Poor guy....he is sooo nervous! Not to mention dehydrated....his neck skin will pinch up into a fold, yet he refuses to drink water! This morning we got him to accept some watered-down milk though. That's better then nothing! Hopefully he'll warm up to the water. I'm guessing that our water smells different then the water he is used to, and so he won't touch it.
I spent 3 hrs grooming him yesterday. Boy was he a mess! The lady I got him from is struggling to take care of her dogs, and so she's rehoming some of them. She felt really bad that Devin had gotten so unkempt....he looks beautiful now though!!

Congrats, you finally got him!!!! You did a very nice job with the grooming - I can DEFINITELY tell the difference:)

HE IS TOO CUTE! ADORABLE! Love the b4 and after pics, he looks SO CUTE with those bows! LOL! I am happy that you got him.

Thanks girls!! I'm so happy to have him. I've wanted a poodle for a while now...and now I have one that I got for free! Sort of....I do have to get his shots/neuter him. Not too much, considering I could have been charged a good $500 or more. After all, this guy was champion sired AND his mama was 2 points away from being a champion. Sadly, not all of his male parts are there....and that disqualifies him from being shown. ;) Anyway...he's already loosening up and seemed glad to see me tonight.
