Our movie...

OK, here is the latest C family video. ;D It's not completely done yet....I have to add some more scenes/edit some stuff. BUT, you'll get the idea. ;D Hope it makes you laugh! ;D

Here are some things I missed explaining: Zuma (aka Patsy) wins the race...that's one scene I have to add....we forgot to record that! :D :o

Grape jelly is an illegal substance in horse racing. (In our story, that is. ;D)

Once I get it completely finished I'll repost it.

P.S. Make sure you turn off the blog music...this movie has some of it's own.

Random stuff...

Hey everybody! As you can see, I "remade" my blog!! Hope you like it. :) Oh, and I did take the pic that is behind my title. Neat, huh?!

I hope everyone's Christmas was nice....our's was pretty nice. We didn't do hardly anything though! Seeing as we've been sick with the flu/colds, we didn't feel like doing much. Mainly, we just sat around and talked! Or rested. The only thing we ate for Christmas dinner was velveeta cheese dip and chips. :D Boy, that was good!! (I know, terrible for you though. *rolls eyes*) Strangely enough it didn't upset my stomach. We also went to the dog park. THAT was an adventure. ;D First of all, Patsy has been having some...uh...tummy troubles from little ones feeding her old Ol'Roy dog biscuits. :P IOW, she's been pretty gassy the past few days. I thought that she was over it on Friday....apparently not because when we were about 10 minutes into our adventure she let off a good 'un. Whew! Had to air out the car....that happened several times. Then Pepper barfed....don't know why, either; she's always loved car rides before and never been carsick. Who knows....anyway, so we had to stop so I could clean up that mess. Once we made it to the dog park we were OK, although Dusty didn't think the other dogs were great; we'll be working on that. ;) He needs a little practice in socializing with his kind. :D Thankfully, he just runs and doesn't start fights. ;)

So there is my Christmas. Today we went to my aunt's birthday party. It was nice to see that side of the family again. We don't have a whole lot of contact with them. Other than that outing, I've pretty much just loafed around. I didn't get officially dressed until like 11 or 12. Once I did get dressed, I didn't do anything except for some fish tank/betta tank water changes. So, yup, lazy day!!

OK, well, hope you enjoyed the random news. ;D

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Merry Christmas to everyone!! I hope your Christmas celebration is full of joy in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. It truly is wonderful the way He, the Son of the one and only God, came down to earth as a little Baby, was born in a stable to a lowly family, and rested in a manger. Those of you who own livestock (goats, cows, etc.) all know that feed troughs aren't exactly clean. ;) And neither is a stable. I'm so thankful that the King of Kings was willing to endure all the humiliation for me. That's something to be truly joyful about, don't you think?! After all, it's not about presents and food. This year, our family decided that we would spend our present money on gifts for the poor in other countries. We did it through Gospel for Asia. http://www.gfa.org/ I would encourage y'all to make a Christmas contribution to them...they do so much good!!

1And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.

2(And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

3And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

4And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

5To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

6And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

7And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

8And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

15And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.

16And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.

17And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.

18And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

19But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.

Do Hard Things

Bethany, Jenna, and Josh are doing a new book study on their blog "Beyond the Cover" (http://beyondthecoverbjj.blogspot.com/) Hop over and check it out!! They've already written a few posts about it.

Here is the book description they gave:

Written when they were 18 years old, Do Hard Things is the Harris twins' revolutionary message in its purest and most compelling form, giving readers a tangible glimpse of what is possible for teens who actively resist cultural lies that limit their potential.

:::

Combating the idea of adolescence as a vacation from responsibility, the authors weave together biblical insights, history, and modern examples to redefine the teen years as the launching pad of life and map a clear trajectory for long-term fulfillment and eternal impact.

:::

Written by teens for teens, Do Hard Things is packed with humorous personal anecdotes, practical examples, and stories of real-life rebelutionaries in action. This rallying cry from the heart of revolution already in progress challenges the next generation to lay claim to a brighter future, starting today.

Prayer please...

I'd like to request prayer for me and my family...right now we have a flu running through our family. I had to call in sick at work, as did my dad. Also, I really need to be well in order to go to work tomorrow. This is our crazy time, and the grooming shop needs me there as much as possible! So, pray that I get well by tomorrow, and that I'll have the strength to get up and go. :) Thanks!!

I'm sorry

I want to apologize for part of my last post...I was feeling a little emotional that day and wasn't thinking. If it hurt any of you, I'm truly sorry. I simply shouldn't have said some of the things I said. I'm going to remove most of it. :)

Also, I made a few other changes to my testimony...so if you're interested you might want to read it again. :)

Concerning my testimony

I made a few changes to it...first of all, I evidentally got the story of my great-grandma losing her first baby slightly wrong. She wasn't drugged (I was pretty certain she was, but dad said no). So, got that a bit wrong. Also, evidentally mom changed her mind about posting her book on the internet as a free e-book. So I changed that....she's not sure how she's going to publish-distribute it. Also, in Patrick's interesting experience with a demon paralyzing him, he actually wasn't dragged onto the porch. (If you'll remember, I did say I wasn't sure about that. ;) So I found out I had reason to be unsure. ;D)

I know that my family's testimony is very, very weird. I understand that. It's so weird, some of you aren't able to take it and will cut contact with me. I understand that, too. However, please don't just assume that something is wrong with me and my family because something like that happened to us!! I realize that I didn't prove a lot of what I said with Scripture. I really didn't have time; that thing took me at least an hour as it was! Mom's book contains the Scriptural backing for all that has happened. And yes, it's all in context and everything. :) However, I'd encourage y'all to go look at the Scripture for yourselves. Perhaps one day I'll post a bunch of Scripture verses for y'all to look up....but that's a perhaps. ;D

My family's testimony

I told all of you I’d write up a testimony…so here goes. ;D

I guess everything started when my mother’s brother died. Mom was 14 yo at the time. She bottled her sorrow up and got angry at God. Right then and there, Satan saw an opening for attack. And he followed through with it….for 28 yrs mom’s carried demonic attacks from that incident.

Thankfully, those attacks weren’t too heavy…life went on for her pretty normally. She married my dad (duh! Who else would she have married?!) at the age of almost 23 and had me when she was about 24.5. Then came my first (and only for 7 yrs!) brother, my first sister, another sister, another sister, another brother, a sister, a sister, a sister, and my last sibling/brother. Between the third and fourth child (you guessed it, both sisters! :D) my grandma (dad’s mom) came to live with us. Grandpa had died several yrs previously and grandma, along with her dachshund, were getting lonely. Dad invited her to live with us. That’s when the real trouble began. You see, my grandma’s daddy (my great-grandpa) AND my grandpa were both freemasons (and no, they’re not free!!). My great-grandpa was one of very high degree and while grandpa wasn’t really “into” it, his decisions still had consequences.

Now let me explain what comes along with freemasonry. You see, you have to take oaths to keep the freemasons as a whole secret, put the good of the society above everything (so if you have to murder because of them, it’s OK.) etc. etc. (here’s a link for y’all so you can read more about the freemasons. They’re very sick! http://www.isaiah54.org/finney.htm It’s a very basic explanation, but hopefully it’ll help!) Along with those oaths come terrible curses; curses that will fall on you if you break your oath. The whole thing is very anti-God. It’s too complicated for me to completely understand or explain. Let me just summarize it this way: the curses are very, very real. You’ll see that as I continue through our journey. All of the oaths my grandpa/great-grandpa took came to rest on the family around them, mainly the women. The men were just blinded to what was going on. An example? My great-grandma (whom I’m named after) was pregnant 4 times….her first child (a perfect, healthy baby) was born, and everything was going well. However, the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby’s neck. The nurse (THE NURSE!) didn’t know what to do, and apparently my great-grandma didn't either. The nurse left to go get the docter….and so that poor baby suffocated. Her other loss was a miscarriage…then my grandma/great-uncle were born. All through her life, my great-grandma had fertility problems. The children who were actually born were miracles. All her problems were caused by the oaths/curses her husband had taken.

So, back to my story. My grandma came to live with us, along with all her stuff. (She had/has a terrible problem with hoarding and a great fear of losing everything.) Everything was OK at first; we moved into a different house….and then trouble started. However, it was very hidden. It was all little stuff. My mom’s health began to suffer….my grandma began to pick on my oldest brother, Patrick. “Small”stuff. My grandma refused to give up her cable television and got very ugly about it. (My family had kicked that out yrs before!) When we made the decision to dress more modestly (skirts, etc.) she again refused to reform. Dad let it all go though….he figured it didn’t really matter. Matters got worse…my grandma actually began to call my brother dumb and was controlling my mom to some degree; mom’s health was still going down. Still, we couldn’t see that anything was wrong! Yet, the whole time, Satan and his demons were chipping away at us (hence the worsening condition). And he was about to step up the attack….

Now let me give you a sampling of the oaths my g-gpa/gpa had taken so that you can understand what I’m going to write about. (Caution: if you have a weak stomach, please don’t read. They are very, very sick.) http://www.themasonictrowel.com/books/the_hidden_powe_behind_freemasonry/files/chapter_13.htm

And this one doesn’t actually have the oath, just renounces what the oaths involve:

http://www.christian-faith.com/forjesus/renouncing-freemasonry

OK, skip to the last 2 yrs of our life (we’d moved again in that time, too, to where we are now)….10 yrs after grandma came to live with us. Mom was pregnant with her last child. Her health was falling apart; she was constantly tired and had lots and lots of pain. She couldn’t even get out of her chair. She spent almost all of her time checked out on the computer. Most of the time, you had to repeat her name over and over before she’d acknowledge you. It was very strange, and at the time we didn’t understand it. We figured it was just the fact that she felt terrible. Now we understand that it was all demonic attack. She was literally in a prison. Life had pretty much come to a standstill for us; we were struggling just to make it every day. Then Baby was born. Whew! We thought everything was going to be better, that mom was going to get well. Well, not really. She really wasn’t getting better. Things were still pretty much the same. All of her symptoms stayed…and so we continued to struggle.

Also, throughout this time, we kids who were upstairs were experiencing a lot of spiritual turmoil. The atmosphere upstairs was very evil and unrestful. (my grandma was also living up there with us…). My brother could actually see demons. I often felt and heard them. (Yeah, they make noises. Ever heard footsteps in the night, talking where no one was, or the rustling of bodies where nothing is? That stuff isn’t restricted to horror movies and ghosts….it’s all real. I know that firsthand.) At one point, my mother began praying very hard that my gma would give up her cable…a couple days later, my brother had a real battle with a demon. It came into his room, jumped on top of him, and paralyzed him. (I’ve also experienced that. You can’t move at all, can’t even speak to call out Jesus’ name. In fact, you can barely think, either. When it happened to me, all I could do was think “Jesus, Jesus”. It works. :)) Of course, my brother tried to fight it, and in the process it dragged him (spiritually, of course) through the bed. Finally, Patrick was able to think the name of the Lord and the demon had to leave. THEN, the next night (and here’s the funny part-there are many. :D- about those two days. Me, Patrick, and my sister were all laying in our beds in the same room, completely awake without any intention of sleeping. The experience of Patrick the night b4 wasn’t happening again, no sir!) at about 2:30 (yep, all three of us had been awake for that length of time!) we heard a ginormous crash, like someone had knocked over a bunch of dishes. WHOA!!!! I think that we all three just almost came out of our skins and bolted for the door to go find dad. ;D As it was, we were too scared to move. (tsch tsch tsch) Finally, my sister and I (Patrick refused to get out of bed. :D) crept out of bed and went chattering downstairs to get dad. He prayed over the upstairs, and we went back to bed. The next morning, my grandma (who was all white and scared looking) came into my room and said “I woke up this morning and my paper weight that was on my desk is on the floor!! And my pictures and papers are messed up, too…” BTW, that paperweight weighs a TON! AT that point, we figured out where the crashing noise came from: it was a demon knocking all that stuff off gma’s desk!! It scared my grandma so badly that when my dad talked to her and told her that cable was allowing demons in, she readily gave it up. We had other experiences like that, too….none quite as dramatic, but kinda scary nonetheless!

Then, last September my dad’s brother had a motorcycle accident. He hit a deer at about 50 mph; the collision knocked him out cold, and who knows how long he had lain on the road before someone came along, woke him up, and kept him awake until the ambulance came along. That lady probably saved his life; if he’d returned to unconsciousness, he likely would have never made it back. He had smacked his head something awful; also, he broke his shoulder blade. Yeah, it takes a lot to break that big ol’ bone! So, of course, dad, me, and Patrick rushed to be with my aunt/uncle. (BTW, here’s an amazing side note: about 2 wks earlier, I’d asked if I could change my work schedule a little for one week…however, no one would switch days with me! I suddenly realized that my job was controlling me and my family time too much, so I quit. I realize now that it was the Lord speaking to me.) We also took grandma with us. It was while we were there that things came to a crisis, both there and at home. There, we discovered that my aunt and uncle had been living in conditions I wouldn’t impose on an animal. Their house was a trashy, stinky, awful mess! The spiritual darkness was pretty obvious over there; we decided to stay and help clean it up. Meanwhile, at home, mom was coming under more and more demonic attack. Finally, she called dad and told him he had a choice: her or his family. (I know that sounds unsubmitted, but you’ve got to understand: mom was dying under all the attack. She had to do something, and if she hadn’t delivered that ultimatum to dad she wouldn’t have made it through!) Thankfully, dad chose her. We rushed home to put our family back together. (as dad said)

Now comes the real story; the rest was background. :D A few days after we were home, Insanity (he’s a big bugger, I wouldn’t encourage anyone tangling with him on purpose. ;D) attacked mom. We don’t think he possessed her, he was just on her, controlling her. She was trying to do laundry….but couldn’t get anything done. She realized something wasn’t right. She couldn’t even get herself ready for the day….she looked into the mirror and saw something ugly looking back at her; she couldn’t even recognize herself. Naturally that was scary, and so she handed baby over to little sister (who didn’t recognize her either!). At some point, she had also called dad and told him “I think I need to call 911 and turn myself in.” She was going insane, and she knew it. The attack was getting worse….she walked outside to try to go get grandpa (her dad) and he was coming down our stairs. (they’re outside our house…weird, I know. ;D) He took one look at her and immediately knew what was wrong. Gpa took her into his office and began to pray over her. Insanity (at this point he had taken over mom’s voice and was speaking through her) yelled “I’m insane, I’m insane”. OK, so that made grandpa mad….he rebuked insanity off (who finally left) and mom became a little more normal. We thought it was all over, that everything was going to be great and happy from then on!! Not so….mom continued to get attacked. Then December rolled around…..the worst month of my life, I think!! All the evil strongholds that were in place because of the curses my ancestors placed on us were doing their bestest (I know that’s not a word!) to stay in place. Mom wasn’t even mom. I hardly saw her once a day…she was constantly in her room, fighting to stay alive and sane. Those demons took her down to the level of the lowest human being. If her relationship with Jesus hadn’t been as strong as it is, she would never have made it. She would be in an asylum at this point. Also at that time Gma had moved into my mom's aunt's house, and was going through all of her stuff at our house. Around that time, we were discovering that we could not keep one item of her’s/gpa’s stuff. Not one single thing; otherwise, we children would get attacked at night. And, of course, Satan made sure that grandma kept trying to give us stuff! It was frustrating.

All through that, we teens were sooo hurt and confused. I was simply afraid. I seriously thought mom was dying, that she wasn’t going to make it, that I was going to have to move away because I couldn’t handle anymore. Finally though, God put forth His hand and said “No more”. Mom/dad were able to pray off all of the strongholds, demons, curses, etc. Things began to simmer down. This past year has been one of healing and recuperating. It’s been hard; we’ve had to go through a lot of things. Actually, we know for sure that the week before last was our last week….the very last demonic stronghold came off. Now the healing process can be completed.

I feel I need to make one thing very clear: the reason we’ve gone through all we have is this: my ancestors took some oaths, they were passed on to my gma, and she passed them onto my mother/dad/siblings/me. Many of us had awful curses on us as a result: I was to be infertile, one of my siblings was going to die of cancer, etc. etc. How do we know all that? God speaks to His children!!

This story is by no means complete. If it were, you wouldn’t manage to read it in one sitting. :D I hope that I made all the connections I needed to, and that everything is explained in a manner that is clear and understandable. Please, please let me know what you think and ask me questions!! I know for sure I’ve missed some stuff that is vital to your understanding. :)

I hope that this narrative inspires those who read it to praise God’s Holy and Wondrous name all the more; I also hope and pray that it does not offend anyone. I know that what we’ve been through is really weird and “way out there”; however, I can assure you that nothing of what I said was made up or embellished. I tried to present it just as it happened. If something did seem a little dramatic to you, please understand. I’m still healing from all this and get very emotional about it still. In fact, just writing this has brought back some memories and feelings that made me cry. Thanks so much for reading!!

In Christ,
~E
